ABOUT PRAGMATIC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL

Background

Pragmatic Systems International Corporation was established in February of 1997 with two main goals:

  1. To establish a “boutique consulting firm” that caters to the specific needs of organizations without the high overhead of competing big firms.
  2. To provide staff augmentation/sub-contracting services to a highly distinguished set of companies.

Distinguishing Qualities

Pragmatic Systems Core Associates have had to work in fiercely competitive and cost-conscious companies where the need to prove our capabilities is throughout any project engagement. We are experienced and highly skilled professionals who desire to bring projects in on time and under budget.

Pragmatic Systems adheres to a commitment of instilling integrity in our workmanship. Once we agree to provide our clients with a product delivery, that product gets done from inception to proper turnover. As a boutique firm in a tough environment, we are distinguished by our character, our commitment and our pride of delivering what we agreed to provide. All staff on all projects are tried and true; training of staff is NOT conducted at client expense.

Pragmatic Systems is particularly experienced in the travel industry. We have worked in a wide range of industries although we always feel an affinity toward the travel industry. Perhaps that is because we enjoy working with diversified cultures and where we get to practice our foreign language skills.

Work-Life Balance

Pragmatic Systems believes in providing the best value for our clients. Although sometimes considered workaholics, sick the individuals of Pragmatic Systems believe in work-life balance. So we are content to have some time to just focus on leisure activities. Some of us go boating, some play the piano, some paint. The Managing Director also paints in watercolor and gouache and her work is available for viewing at www.littlefaceart.com

Core Competencies

Our core competencies are in the areas of project management, program management, data warehousing, “big data” management, start-up “.com” companies, software development, business analysis and testing. We are comfortable with both agile and more traditional waterfall software development life cycles. We often find ourselves selecting a hybrid between the traditional waterfall and agile methodologies.
